build process

100% of the manufacturing of your chosen structure is carried out on site. We build from the base upwards meaning that the customer is responsible for all the ground work i.e drainage connections concrete base.
The average time to build a 45 foot long and 20 foot wide log cabin is approximately 6 - 7 weeks.
These does not need building regulations, however we are able to build to full building regulations and have done so in the past.

There are generally eight phases to complete the build but as we offer a bespoke service the amount of phases can increase or decrease depending on the exact design:-

  • Chassis are laid with floor joists
  • All panels are erected
  • Roof purlins or trusses are fitted
  • Vapor barrier and vertical battens are added
  • Door and window frames are fitted
  • Outside cladding is screwed on
  • Finish the cladding and corner posts
  • Finally, add the roof
We undertake all plumbing and electrics and we are also able to fit kitchens and decorate to a very high standard.
We even offer a furnishings service.
If electrics are needed it would be the responsibility of the land owner to get the electric feed to the base then Archmia would take the feed from there.
